The distribution area of Acipenser sturio in Europe: a new probabilistic approach

In the present context of both the water framework directive and the global change the main question dealing with the distribution of A. sturio in our point of view is: where could we imagine to successfully reintroduce sturgeon if we would be able to do? In other terms what are the drainage basins where the conditions would be the most favourable for this species. This is the second aim of the paper to provide an answer to this question.
